Heavy marchwarden

44-2634-31 The Marchwardens of Lorien were elven patrols that operated in small groups. They had the task of scouting and defending the borders of the Golden Wood against the forces of Moria and Dol Guldur. They usually wore grey hooded cloaks and light equipment, traveling swiftly along all the perimeter of Lorien, observing unaware trespassers from the shadows of the wood’s canopy. However, it did occur at times that they were called to fight in skirmishes, where they would set aside leather and cloth to don heavy armour and ready themselves to closely fight against their enemies. This elf is patrolling the outskirts of Lorien, on the road to Nanduhirion. Expecting to be engaged in close combat against orc waylayers, he wears a suit of armour with the symbol of Lorien in autumn29-91 I wanted to make an outfit with the Barad Guldur capitain leggings, but I was never quite happy with the undyable yellow part. The leggings dye in dark tone, so umber dye almost looked like walnut brown. I did use walnut brown for the other pieces else they were too bright. Yay base hues! 😄 43-91head: Hat of the written word, Moria instance set light

shoulders: Shoulders of the Swift Arrow, walnut brown dye, barter in Ost Galadh, hunter set

chest: Elven soldier’s armour, walnut brown dye, crafted tier 5 heavy

gloves: Gloves of the Tireless Sentinel, walnut brown dye, Draigoch raid set barter in Galtrev

legs: Leggings of the Battle Leader, umber dye, classic skirmish barter

back: Cloak of the Autumn wood, walnut brown dye, lotro store

bow: Ladbeng, quest reward (Trollshaws, The true thieves)
