Blade of Elendil

“…and the sword of Elendil filled Orcs and Men with fear, for it shone with the light of the sun and of the moon, and it was named Narsil.” —The Silmarillion, Of the Rings of Power and the Third Age 42-45 23.58 Narsil was the powerful sword wielded by King Elendil of the Dúnedain, during the war between the Last Alliance of Elves and Men and Sauron of Mordor, at the end of the Second Age. The sword’s name is a combination of the elvish Anar (sun) and Isil (moon).

U16 put me in a Gondor mood, I do not feature outfits for the race of Men but the post of two weeks ago and another one before, however the more we move into Gondor the more it fascinates me. This outfit is not actually intented to be a portrait of Elendil, but an inspiration that I had for the Sellsword cloak, after having it in my vault for a whole year collecting dust. Both cloak and the /swordsalute emote can very well represent Narsil. Blade of Elendil is also the name of a skill for the captain class. The scenario for this screens is not actually any part of Gondor, but Annuminas of old Arnor, its brother kingdom. I love the silhouette of the Colossus in the background hehe.55-3529-95 shoulders: Elven Warrior’s Shoulder Guards, sienna dye, crafted heavy tier 5
