Raun ‘ni Belegaer

30-5910-78Raun ‘ni Belegaer means Pilgrimage to the Sea. As the Third Age is ending, and the time of the Elves is no more, the Firstborn Children of Iluvatar leave Middle Earth, passing the torch to the dominion of Men. They journey West, to the Grey Havens to take the Straight Road for the blessed realm, never to return. Leaving ages of hardships behind, it is a long awaited relief. It is for this elf maiden, who just arrived in Mithlond following the call of the sea. She seems content to set sail for Valinor, where she knows she will be reunited with her long lost family, friends and love. She even donned a traveling suit in the colour of Belegaer, the great sea. Staring at the horizon, watching ships sail, she will soon embark on hers.00-60Belegaer blue is my new fvourite dye. It is a beautiful pastel blue that was much needed in the lotro palette, Ered Luin blue and Steel blue being so dark, and Evendim and Sea blue being so bright, this one is the right middle ground. And if you noticed in some pieces of armour we already had this colour, notably the Dar Narbugud sets. While I am sad it is just a temporary dye (meaning only available at festivals) it is my only complaint XD. Also, I found out that the /drive emote is a better “look” emote than the actual /look and /lookaround41-3802-45
